What is the +Impact Store?
The +Impact Store is a limited-edition merch store and fundraising initiative by the AIDS Committee of Toronto (ACT). All merch is creating by people living with HIV, and 100% of proceeds support ACT’s HIV prevention, sexual health education, mental health, and community support services.
Where does the money go?
Every purchase helps fund ACT’s frontline programs — including mental health counselling, and community-based services for people living with and at risk of HIV. This store is 100% non-profit. All funds go directly to support our mission.
Who made the merch?
All items hand-made by people living with HIV right here in Toronto?
Is this a real donation?
Yes — but with a twist. Instead of a tax receipt, you’re receiving a limited-edition product in return for your donation. This makes your purchase ineligible for a charitable tax receipt, but it does make a direct impact on our community.
Do I have to pay tax on my order?
Nope! Because ACT is a registered charity, all purchases from the +Impact Store are tax-free.
Do you ship across Canada?
Yes! We currently ship to addresses across Canada via Canada Post. Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your location.
Do you offer local pickup?
Yes. You can pick up your order from ACT’s offices in downtown Toronto, or at select community events (like Pride Toronto). Choose Local Pickup at checkout and we’ll email you when it’s ready.
Can I return or exchange my item?
No. Because this is a charitable initiative, all sales are final. We cannot offer refunds or exchanges. If your item arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us within 7 days and we’ll do our best to make it right.
What sizes do you carry?
All t-shirts and tank tops are unisex and available in sizes S–XL. Size guides are included on product pages. Tote bags are one-size.
